Falcoflow water cooled copper panels with cored water passages have been highly successful in both sidewall and slagline applications. Maximum service life is achieved by placing the water in intimate contact with the copper. Because of superior cooling characteristics, a protective coating of slag quickly builds up on our reverse tapered cast on refractory pockets, to shield the panel from heat of the furnace and also to provide insulation against heat loss. Here again, Falcon panels are cast in one piece and, therefore, are not subject to cracking along welds.

The exeptional service life of our panels reduces downtime and maintenance resulting in a cost-effective solution.
Falcon produces electric furnace electrode holders which can weigh in excess of 12,000 pounds. The 5,000-pound and 300-pound electrode holders pictured here are a prime example of Falcon's advanced production capabilities. The unique Falcoflow design, which utilizes cast-in water passages, allows water to be in direct contact with the copper, providing maximum cooling efficiency and longer holder life. And because of Falcon's large melting capacity and heavy cranes, all electrode holders are cast as a one-piece design, assuring extended service life and eliminating any risk of compromise along welds.

Falcon manufactures electrode holders with either a monel or stainless steel pipe. The pipe/coil assemblies are cast in place.
